Hello,
I noticed that creating blends stopped working for certain pairs of projections (Geocart 3.3.6 on macOS Mojave).
For example, cylindric equal area + Hammer, or equirectangular projection + Aitoff.
For both cases, I’ve got Geocart files created by older versions where I mixed these projections. I can redraw them, I can call up the parameters dialogue to change the parent’s ratio, and if I do that, the map gets rendered just fine. But when I try to create a new blend with the same projection, I get the error “Blended projection: The two projections are incompatible”.
What happened?
Kind regards,
Tobias

Hmm. I don’t recall mucking around in that code in a very long time.
I’ll look into it as time permits. Sorry for the trouble.

The cylindric equal area + Hammer file was saved with Geocart 3.3.5, but it is possible that I created it with an older version, and then only modified and saved it using v3.3.5. So I can’t tell at which point it worked…

No real trouble here. I just wanted to check something but I could do that with the old file.
Kind regards,
Tobias
