Proof or Final quality by default
Making a new map sets it to Draft quality. Is there an option to change that default?

However, since the new map rarely is the one that I want and I’m going to change some settings anyway, I’m happy that the default map renders as fast as possible. Moreover, you can set the quality with a single keystroke (ctrl + 2/3/4 on Windows, command + 2/3/4 on macOS), I don’t think that this option is really needed.
Of course, that’s only my opinion, things like that always depend a lot on how you wirk with an application.

Bathymetry (also called Natural Earth II) and Tissot indicatrix look so much better with Proof quality. That's why I want an option to make it default.

Bump - just because you might find some advantages in "Draft" doesn't mean that by default I don't want the one that starts with P.
