No.
Since the printed edition of book is still available, there’s no (legal) free digital version.

Or maybe I'll just wait until there's a free(legal) digital version available. I'm in no rush to adquire that book.

I would be surprised if that ever happens!mapnerd2022 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 6:49 am Or maybe I'll just wait until there's a free(legal) digital version available.

Well, there are interesting things on archive.org, e.g. I found Eckert’s Die Kartenwissenschaft there.
But … that was published in 1921, so you better don’t hold your breath while waiting for Flattening…

And I found Snyder's Map projections: a reference manual in collaboration with Lev Bugayevskiy on a archive.org-like (legal) website. Basically another website with a lot of books of all kinds.

There is no legal, free copy for that work, nor for practically any work that is within copyright and not specifically released by the copyright holders. There are a lot of sites that pretend otherwise.mapnerd2022 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 16, 2022 9:13 am And I found Snyder's Map projections: a reference manual in collaboration with Lev Bugayevskiy on a archive.org-like (legal) website.
