Using dem files from UStopo

Is there a way to use the topo dem files from UStopo CDs in Geocart 3? Like richmond-e.dem. Thanks, Paul

Hello, Paul.

Geocart doesn’t read USGS DEM files directly. You would need to converted to a TIFF first using ArcGIS, GDAL, or some other suitable intermediary.

The files that were offered as an option with TOPOtoIMAGE are based on USGS dem files, but adapted for that program. Paul
