Description

An azimuthal projection that magnifies the central region in comparison to outer regions.

Classifications

Graticule

Meridians: Straight in polar aspect.
Parallels: Circles in polar aspect.
Poles: Center pole is a point; other pole is circular perimeter.

Parameters

Central magnfication.
Spread: An integer value. The higher it is, the greater the extent of the magnified region.
