A base map for showing world mineral deposits. This Briesmeister projection emphasizes land masses. The distribution of some mineral deposits depends somewhat on the primeval Pangaean land mass, so it is nice to display the map in a fashion that makes plain the common origin of the continents. The map was exported from Geocart as an Adobe Illustrator file and colored with Illustrator.

A political map of Africa. This map is a file exported directly from Geocart. The projection is a Miller Oblated Stereographic, rotated -35°, centered on 3° N, 18°30'E, with an east-west minimum-error radius of 33° and a north-south radius of 41°. The map shows all of Africa and Madagascar conformally and with distortion under 5%.
